We also participate in the Child & Adult Care Food Program (CACFP). A U.S.D.A. program that ensures nutritious meals & snacks for children in child care. about our programAfter graduating in 1996 with a degree in Supervision and Management of Child Care Centers, Julie with her husband, Troy opened ABC's and 123's Child Care. Our goal was to provide quality child care at an affordable price. Since opening we have continually looked for and implemented ways to improve the program. This process has been an ongoing evolution into what is now ABC's and 123's Early Learning. As our mission statement indicates our activities are often tied with a nature theme. Children are building their motor skills & cognitive ability, and are on their way to establishing a personal connection with nature. This connection not only fosters learning and values, but may help develop the next caretakers of our environment! about our location Located 3 blocks North of the intersection of N. 8th Street & Delong Ave (Council Bluffs) we have over 2 acres of wooded land. We are 5 minutes from downtown Council Bluffs, and 12 minutes from downtown Omaha. We use our unique location & immersion in nature to stimulate early learning.
